CFO cum CEO – Registered Charitable Trust (Ghatkopar East)
A reputed charitable trust based in Ghatkopar East is seeking a CFO cum CEO with proven experience in managing trust accounts, finance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Governance
• Provide visionary leadership to the organization, ensuring alignment with its mission and long-term goals.
• Work closely with the board of trustees to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
• Foster relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders to strengthen the organizatios’s impact.
• Oversee monthly MIS reporting, presentation preparation, and submission to the board.
Financial Planning & Compliance (CFO Role)
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure efficient allocation of resources and maintain financial transparency & sustainability.
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with Income Tax, GST, and Trust Laws.
• Co-ordinate with statutory and internal auditors to ensure smooth audit completion and resolve any audit-related issues.
• Establish proper internal controls and procedures for day-to-day financial and operational activities.
Operational & Team Management (CEO Role)
• Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution of programs and initiatives.
• Manage a large team, providing strategic direction, motivation, and performance management.
• Implement policies and best practices to enhance efficiency and organizational growth.
• Oversee vendor management and coordination, ensuring cost-effective procurement and partnerships.
• Drive organizational development and ensure a high-performance culture within the team.
Requirements:
✅ Education: CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA / CPA preferred. Background in social work, public administration, or business management is a plus.
✅ Experience: Minimum 10+ years in financial management, strategic leadership, or a similar executive role.
✅ Non-Profit Experience: Prior experience in the NGO/social impact sector is preferred but not mandatory.
✅ Skills:
- Strong financial acumen & compliance knowledge (Income Tax, GST, Trust Laws, FCRA, CSR laws, etc.).
- Expertise in fundraising, donor relations, and revenue generation.
- Leadership skills with experience in managing large teams and driving performance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong vendor management and coordination experience.
- Passion for social impact, sustainability, and organizational growth.
